I resent wasted time and money.
Because of this, I have developed a streamlined process.
STAGE ONE
LIFESTYLE & DESIGN DISCOVERY PHASE
Through conversation and exercise, we begin to build the metaphorical foundation of your home. By listening to your story and vision for the project, I build an understanding of how you live, what restores you, what creates stress, and what defines beauty through your five senses.
This phase is offered to all members of the home for ultimate unity and wellness for all.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
I work arm in arm with the architectural team to build what we have learned from you at this point. Beginning at the schematic phase, we honor the land the property sits on and keep your overall wellness and concept of beauty at the forefront.
The project comes to life as our team formulates the design concept—room by room, detail by detail.
PROPOSAL STAGE
Before a shovel hits the ground, you are offered a full proposal with a completed FF&E (Furniture, Fixture and Equipment), a 3-D tour & renderings, and a complete financial package of the interiors. The vision and investment is crystal clear.
STAGE TWO:
COLLABORATION & BUILD
I work side by side with your architect and builder to ensure flawless integration during the life of the project.
PROCUREMENT
I oversee every detail of procurement and expediting to assure the design moves towards reality.
INSTALLATION AND STYLING
I have an installation team that joins me for the greatest part of the process: installing the home.
We exceed expectations and offer a home that is fully appointed with no detail left undone.
This is the moment the key is handed to you and your journey of personal wellness begins from the beauty we created together.
Melinda Headrick is a total pro. No one knows design better than she does and she does it to perfection. She’s the consummate professional - during the time we worked together she navigated having a long distance client during the height of COVID, supply chain delays and the complications that came with the craziest time to be doing a remodel and full house redesign mid-pandemic and she did it with patience and grace. My Office - My Team
I work very differently than other firms. When you hire me, you get me.
During my career I’ve had the multiple offices, large libraries, and an extensive staff. After two decades, however, I realized that abiding by this traditional model of running a design firm wasn’t serving me or my clients.
I now work remotely and outsource all technical and administrative duties to talented companies I have vetted and trust.
I work globally and have proudly developed a network of some of the most talented architects, builders, and vendors serving the design community.
