THE MHI PROCESS
Through the years, Melinda & team have created what they fondly refer to as the “MHI PROCESS”. This unprecedented process is a holistic approach of programming every interior detail with the client before the shovel hits the ground, metaphorically or actually. This process is structured yet flexible — ensuring that design decisions align perfectly with your lifestyle, expectations, timeline and architectural vision.

THE PROCESSES IS OUTLINED IN TWO (2) CLEAR STAGES
STAGE ONE:
DISCOVERY —- Understanding your goals, taste, expectations for the intended investment and timeline, and most importantly YOUR VISION.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT —- The project comes to life as our team formulates the design concept, room by room, detail by detail. We collaborate closely with the entire team to land on a design language, ensure optimal functionality and enhanced quality of life through carefully curated selections with regards to all the finish and furnishing selections.
PROPOSAL —- An outstanding proposal is presented with a complete with a 3-D tour, renderings, floor plans, tactile samples, a full financial interior package and, what we call in the industry, a full FF&E ( Furniture, Fixture and Finish) to assure accurate pricing and execution by the build team.

STAGE TWO:
COLLABORATION & BUILD —- Hands on coordination with your architect and builder to ensure flawless integration through the life of the project.
PROCUREMENT —- Our team oversees every detail of procurement and expediting to assure the design moves towards reality. We offer impeccable communication and bi-monthly status reports.
INSTALLATION AND STYLING —- Complete oversight of installation and turn-key styling to transform the house into your forever home.

Melinda Headrick is a total pro. No one knows design better than she does and she does it to perfection. MHI is a service area, luxury design firm, meaning we travel to where our projects take us. Melinda embraces technology in order to work with her clients from a distance. Her firm is a paperless company so clients are offered a full digital proposal, 3D renderings and tours.
In addition, over the last twenty years, she has partnered with Studio Designer. This is a comprehensive accounting & design program. Clients can feel as connected as they wish to be from anywhere in the world, at any time.
Melinda is in a constant state of growth and learning when it comes to technology. Giving her clients the most clear, efficient and streamlined process is paramount.
